4-6pm PST

On Tuesday, August 4th two huge explosions caused devastating effects across Beirut.  “’What we are witnessing is a huge catastrophe,’ said the head of the Lebanese Red Cross, George Kettani. ‘There are victims and casualties everywhere.’ Beirut Governor Marwan Abboud said as many as 300,000 people had been made temporarily homeless and that collective losses might reach $10-15bn (£8-11bn).” This month’s folkdance party is a benefit for Beirut, a city of great inspiration to us all. Join us for an open dance party as we celebrate with a great diversity of music from across the Arab World and Middle East for everyone to enjoy and dance the evening away. All ages welcome! We want to connect with you! So grab your dance shoes & hipscarves. Time to dance!

This event is FREE although donations are welcome. All donations go directly to the Lebanese Red Cross.
