Aubre will discuss and lead dancers through experiences exploring how movement and aesthetics shift and change with context and environment. How the dance is experienced in a social context and then a stage changes symbolism, execution and presentation. Understanding this change allows dancers to understand history and culture in a more respectful way to make knowledgable decisions as to how they want to present different form within different performances.
